Chief Healthcare Management Officer
Dr. Waleed Elhag is the founder and President of two Supported Living Services’ companies in California, U.S.A. The two companies specialize in providing full wrap-around health services to developmentally disabled and psychiatric clients, who have histories of complex medical and severe behavioral issues.
Dr. Elhag has extensive experience developing and managing healthcare delivery systems for individuals with challenging medical and psychiatric issues in their own homes. Most of Dr. Elhag’s work is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Developmental Disabilities in the State of California, as a new and innovative solution to help decrease the load of hospitals and psychiatric facilities in the state.
Throughout Dr. Elhag’s career, his main goal is to provide an opportunity for ALL individuals to live in environments where they can follow their dreams and aspirations, while receiving the healthcare support they need to live successful, safe, and productive lives. He has never shied away from a challenge, and in fact he had given a second chance to many individuals who would have otherwise remained confined to hospitals or psychiatric facilities for years.
